In May 1981 was founded the SCA (Agricultural cooperative Company) of fish farmers from Les Landes, by Jacques Lamothe, Jean-Claude Béziat, Michel Barrucand, Abel Caubarrus, François Pomarez, Michel Harispe, Joel Lucas and Christophe Tragnan.
Aqualande is today the principal trout farmer and processor in France with 25 fish farms for a total production of approximately 5000 tons pr. year. |
